About the Job
This posting is for an Experienced Automotive Technician (Master Technician level) at Hertz, with a strong emphasis on diagnostics, advanced repairs, and leadership within the maintenance team.
Wage: $25.00/hr. + median incentive is approximately $404/month, varies based on job performance
Bonus: $3,000 ($1,500 paid at 6 months and $1,500 paid at 12 months)
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of vehicle maintenance experience.
- Dealership experience preferred.
Experience with:
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Engine and transmission overhauls.
- Preventive maintenance programs.
- Manufacturer warranty repairs.
Certifications & Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Trade School preferred.
- ASE Certifications preferred:
- A6 (Electrical/Electronic Systems)
- A7 (Heating & Air Conditioning)
- A8 (Engine Performance)
Technical Skills:
- Ability to perform repairs independently with little or no oversight
- Experience using:
- Vehicle lifts.
- Tire-changing equipment.
- Alignment machines.
- Scan tools.
- Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide technical leadership.
Required Tools:
Candidates must supply their own basic technician tools, including:
- Socket and wrench sets
- Screwdrivers and picks
- Hammers and pry bar
- Torque wrench
- Multimeter
- Cordless impact/driver/ratchet
- Work light
- Generic scan tool
Other Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License
